PHI NANG LUM

by P.W. Jarungpiterah

A buried shoulder. Cold

melting gait the broken

consonants of her

approach. Ruched throat.

The hands, half-

moon incantations

a malefic spread.

Her bull ant anger

mazing the black

and green night.

Her dance, its slow

recrimination. Lips

stretched east and west—

landscape with no wind.
